Terms and conditions apply to purchase of goods at Skaeve.com for all deliveries in Denmark.

 

Order and payment

 Skaeve.com is open for business 24 hours a day, which means it’s available at your disposal when you want. However, we deserve the right to close the store due to maintenance. Orders can only be made when the shop is open and available.

To shop at Skaeve.com, you must be 18 years old and in possession of a valid credit card that we accept. If you have not reached the age of 18, you can still purchase items if you have obtained your guardian’s acceptance or otherwise have the legal right to sign up.

You choose the items you wish to purchase and put them in the “shopping cart”. The applied items in the shopping cart can be adjusted right up until checkout. Furthermore, you can check the content and the price of the items on a regular basis.

All prices on skaeve.com includes VAT, potential other charges and delivery.

When you are ready to order, click on “basket”, then click on “go to checkout” where name, address, email, phone number, payment and delivery forms are required in order to proceed.

You may always go back and update the basket with more or fewer products. The purchase is confirmed by paying in the bottom section of the page, then the order will be forwarded to Skaeve.com

The payment will be processed from your card once your items are despatched. In the case of partial delivery, only the amount corresponding to the actual delivery is deducted. We reserve the right to any price changes and accepts no liability for printing errors. Furthermore, we reserve the right to cancel orders due to significant/obvious flaws.

If you have created an account during ordering, you may log in the bottom section of the homepage at “My Account”. Here you may follow the status of the order and view previous orders.

 

Order confirmation receipt

Once an order has been made on Skaeve.com, a receipt will be sent to confirm our acknowledgment of the order. However, a binding purchase agreement has only been made once you have received an order confirmation from us.

 

14-days right of withdrawal

When you shop online and at Skaeve.com, usually you have 14 days of cancellation. In this period, you can inform us that you regret the purchase and then return the item.

Some items are not covered by the right of withdrawal. If this is the case you will be informed during the purchase.

The 14-days right of withdrawal starts from the day you receive the item. If the deadline expires on a holiday the deadline is extended to the following working day.

When receiving the item, you must handle the goods in a way, so that you can determine which item it is and in which way they work.

To make use of the 14-days of withdrawal, you must inform us within 14 days of receiving the item.

 

Returning an item

If you regret your purchase, the item/items must be returned to the following address:

When returning an item, you must ensure that the goods are properly wrapped so that nothing will be damaged. Until we receive the goods, you are hold full responsible for what may happen to the items. Therefore, please save the receipt from the freight company and the track and trace number.

The buyer must pay the cost of returning the item/items.

IMPORTANT – When you have made the decision to return an order, we expect that you will ship the items as soon as possible. You must return the items within the 14-days of withdrawal.

 

Return form and documentation for your purchase

When returning your order, you must enclose a copy of the order confirmation.

Refund

When the order is received, we will check if everything is in order, and then we will refund the amount you have paid us at the time of purchase.

The money will be transferred to the same payment method that you used during the purchase. If you paid with a credit card, the money will then be returned to the credit card used for the purchase.

NOTE:

 If the value of the item is deteriorated, we may conclude that no refund should be made.
Reasons for no refund:

  • You have taken the item into use
  • The item was damaged while you were responsible for it
  • You have handled the item in a way, that was not necessary to determine the characteristics of the product.
  • You have not followed the restrictions on the 14-days right of withdrawal, including sealing, item type, etc.

 

Complaint

You purchase is subject to the Danish Sale of Goods Act. This means that if you received an item that was either damaged or defect, you can get you money back or have the item exchanged for a new one.

 

You must make contact within reasonable time

When you discover that something is wrong with the item you received, we urge you to contact us as fast as possible and at least within 2 months.

When returning an item, we ask you to make a detailed description of the problem.

 

For legitimate complaints, we will refund the shipping costs

If your complaint is legitimate, we will refund the shipping costs of the returning of the item. If not, you will have to pay all shipping costs, including our shipping costs for returning the item after our examination.

Remember that the item must always be shipped in proper packaging, and you should always make sure to get a receipt from the freight company.

 

Information about making a complaint

The EU commission’s online complaint portal can be used for making a complaint. This is especially relevant, if you are resident of another EU country than Denmark. Complaint is submitted here – http://ec.europa.eu/odr . When submitting a complaint, please provide our email address

Personal information

To be able to shop at skaeve.com, you must provide at least the following information:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Telephone/mobile number

The data above will be stored together with information on which items you have purchased. The data will be saved for 5 years, starting from the fiscal year the order was purchased (cf. Section 10 of the Public Administration Act). After the 5 years the data will be deleted.

If you have created a login to be able to use the self-service, your personal information and purchase information will not be deleted unless you ask us to.

Information will not be passed on or sold to third parties. This will only happen in case of restructuring or if the company is sold. In these situations, data will we be transferred in accordance with the personal data law currently in force.

As a customer you can gain insight into our registration of data about you and you may object to a registration in accordance with the rules of this in the Personal Data Processing Act. In case of this address to us at Skaeve IVS via-email support@skaeve.com.

 

Cookies

By using Skaeve.com you agree that we use cookies. A cookie is a small data file, that we put on your computer to keep track of what happens during your visit and to recognize the computer. A cookie is not a program and does not contain virus.

Law and jurisdiction

Purchases on Skaeve.com is subject to Danish law. Any dispute will be settled by the ordinary Danish courts.
